The stable release for the pcsx2 is the pcsx2 0.9.6 version. Most games are playable in this version. You have the option to configure the game or not. It's all up to you.

Have you ever played a playstation? Well, there is an emulator for playstation. This emulator has the same functionality of the playstation and is named "epsxe". Epsxe can play all of the playstation games. Epsxe runs games that are ISO format.
